  เมื่อเวลา 23.00 น. วันที่ 28 ธ.ค. ผู้สื่อข่าวเดินทางไปไร่มันสำปะหลังของ นางสมร แก้วศิริ อายุ 54 ปี อยู่บ้านเลขที่ 137 หมู่ 11 ต.บ้านโปร่ง อ.ศรีธาตุ จ.อุดรธานี ซึ่งอยู่ท้ายหมู่บ้านโพธิ์ทอง หลัง     ทราบว่ามีกล้วยประหลาดออกลูกกลางลำต้น มีชาวบ้านเดินทางไปดูเพื่อนับหวีกล้วยและจำนวนลูกกล้วย และลูบแป้งหาตัวเลข เพื่อไปแทงหวยงวด 30 ธ.ค.นี้ เมื่อเดินทางไปถึงพบต้นกล้วยหอมทอง อายุ 6 เดือน ปลูกแซมในไร้มันสำปะหลัง สูงประมาณ 1.50 เมตร มีเครือกล้วยแทงออกมาจากลำต้นสูงจากพื้นดินประมาณ 1 ฟุต

  โดยจะมารดน้ำพรวนดินตลอดกระทั่งต้นเดือนธ.ค. ตนเห็นกล้วยปลีกล้วยแทงออกมากลางลำต้น บริเวณใกล้กับโคลนต้น โดยที่ตนไม่เคยมาเจาะลำต้นบังคับให้กล้วยออกลูกแต่อย่างใด แต่กล้วยต้นดังกล่าวแทงปลีออกกลางลำต้นเอง จึงเป็นสิ่งประหลาด แต่ก็ไม่ได้บอกใคร และนำเศษหญ้าที่ตนถางมาปกปิดเครือกล้วยไว้ รอกระทั่งกล้วยออกมาจนสุดเครือ จึงได้มานับหวีกล้วยได้ 4 หวี รวม 40 ลูก นำมือถือมาถ่ายรูปเครือกล้วยก่อนนำไปให้ญาติดู
